    Hello & 70s LED.

    Hello,

Big thanks to Eddie for manually adding me.

Easier poking an alert crocodile, than waiting for a chance the forum is opened up to new registrations

I would love with some help identifying my partners 70s LED watch. He paid a whole years pocket money, back in the day.

Seems to be brand innitals dfb or dtb on back?

Genuinely laughed when I saw the logo on the clasp :o)

Welcome along! Not sure in the watch, but plenty on here might. *Cracking* logo.

And just a tiny point on the ribald language of your intro - it’s not really for Watch Talk; have a gander at our kind host’s stickies :)

I do t know why, but that case back doesn’t look 70’s to me.

It looks like a Montre, but there's very little on the web about them. Case back helps in no way at all.

Not sure of the brand but there were lots like this, base metal cases, two battery jobs under different brands.

Dealers would just order them in batches with their own brand on the case back/bracelet if they ordered enough.

I had one back in the day. Paid around £27 IIRC in the early '70's.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Yep, and they went through batteries like a knife through butter!
    Best Regards - Peter

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
