Looking for a UK supplier of US Army Vietnam Era M65 Jackets. Recommendations?

Firstly, thanks in advance for responses.

I’m looking for an original M65 from the 60s/70s. Looking on eBay there are so many variations, and I am looking for issued/used, good condition (working zip, poppers etc), the lighter (faded?) green heavy duty canvas and the US Army/name patches in tact if possible, or at least evidence that they were once there.

Can anyone recommend a trusted and knowledgeable source, as I know nothing other than what I like the look of.

That might be a difficult one
    https://www.rokit.co.uk/collections/...AmjZJI-2Y9iuVK
I have found a few gems at Rokit in the past but it’s not often

    https://www.blightymilitaria.com/en-...071?reset=true

Blighty usually has some good gear.

    https://omegamilitaria.com/collections/jackets
Not dealt with them but they have some good looking kit on the website

    Whilst not UK based https://www.ebay.com/str/cadencemilitaria
On eBay has lots of gear and seems to churn so worth a look every now and again.

    Hi,

Ok well I’m sure this would fit but maybe the length is not right?

I hava a large 41 to 45 inch chest long, M65 by Rolane sportswear, Scovill zips sateen outer.

No liner I’m afraid but the reproduction ones fit, might have to reposition a button or two.

Come to think of it, I have a medium somewhere too, I’ll try and find it.

When it comes to finding a trusted source for vintage military jackets like the M65, you might want to consider specialised vintage clothing stores or online platforms that focus on authentic military gear.

By some strange alchemy, I now have a M65 (though in a thoroughly non-Army deep blue, cos I'm as hard as trifle)

I get totally random stuff on you tube come up that I dont search for, though I still watch it.

Dont is my advice you will get sucked in.

If anyone want British combat jackets I have a few spare,DPM is still the best (and not made in China like the latest stuff).

It is not random, it is based on your internet history, usage and searches. I am 100% not surprised this appeared on your feed given the algorithms. And torches.

Same way Jimp is full of boot videos & air pistols in his!

Mine involve sports cars, racing & F1. Internet knows more than you think.

There is a very good vintage clothing shop very near me called Hang up vintage clothing, pretty sure the guy has a lot of contacts to locate items he doesn’t have in stock.

The genuine ones are all year dated in the labels.
I’ve seen very few pre 1970 but 70-75 there’s quite a few if you look.

I'm looking online (auction site) for a 1967 jacket ideally. Thanks.

    New old stock,

    Only £600…

And it’s got a button missing

I did not get the reference at all. Not seen it.

But within 3 hours of looking at this thread this gets recommended to me.

    That algorithm works.

    Scary.

I bought a camo one from 67 about 10 years ago from Ebay for £12, well used but perfect. Still has the Airborne badge on the upper arm. Wear it every day for dog walking in the countryside.
