Amazon contact number or the returns policy

Anyone know a contact number or the returns policy?

I bought Argan oil shampoo and conditioner set for £5.50 and Poundland are selling each bottle for £1, when I select the item to return it ask me why - my answer found it cheaper somewhere else, it then ask/requires you to enter where and price.
It then states it is not eligible for a return, it is not highlighted at the beginning of the return page (like a jar of mustard that I have bought is highlighted) that it is not eligible and I can't see in the return policy of why (maybe it is there but I can't see it).

Does anyone know why or been in a similar situation, I know it's not a lot of money but I rather be £3.50 better off than let Amazon make more money from me.

Is £3.50 worth your time and hassle, principal aside?

For me it’s a cheap price to pay to remind you to shop around

Can you tell I like taking a positive from a negative?

I always select "not suitable for intended purpose" for any Amazon refund. Goes through everytime. In your case it's not suitable for washing your hair cheaply.

Within the account section, you should see help with something else. Click on one of the options, then I need more help.

Otherwise on another order, click for I need more help and the agent will ask you to confirm which item. If you can get your order number beforehand it will be easier to advise the agent.

Might have to pay return postage anyway.

Just chalk it down to experience and move on.

    Edit:- Snap!

It seemed a good price at the time, then yesterday I was in Poundland and saw the same product.

So you've found your answer on why you weren't offered a return in the first place then. Clearly it cost more for them to pay for you to return it then the product is worth. I'm sure Jeff won't lose any sleep on his yacht, it's not like he needs the shampoo anyway.
