    Newly arrived, IWC MkXV

Box, papers, original strap and IWC deployment and all receipts from new in 2006. Very happy. Always felt the danger of these being “the one watch” territory and it really could be.

That looks wonderful. I’ve had a couple of XVs and wish I’d kept one. Can I ask where you found it?

C24. In fact a friend found it and alerted me.
UK seller (and indeed UK watch from new). Lovely bloke, had some thoughts about cooking salmon, took a reasonable offer, threw in a Hirsch strap as well as the original. Very un-C24. Was like buying a watch on SC.

I’ve had a great experience dealing with private sellers on Chrono24. Even had a face to face watches and coffee chat with the seller of my Panerai 210. Only good experiences so far

Lovely, can’t beat an IWC Pilot especially a Mark XV or X.

    Congrats to you!

Beautiful………..I sometimes regret getting my XV back in 2018 as it has become my one watch. There was fun in the search, flipping every year or so going through Sinn, Damasko, Breitling, Rolex, Tudor etc. but since getting the IWC I no longer feel the need to search.

    Newly arrived, IWC MkXV

Well, thanks for ruining my day ;-)

Seriously great find Mark XV, congratulations. Massive regrets letting mine go a few years back. For me, the best Mark out there.

I'll be in touch when you decide to let it go :-)

Edit: I appear to have just bought one

Same here but in my case Mark XVI. Ever since I bought it in 2010, I lost interest in other watches. I sold my other watches and literally this is only my daily watch left. No need to look for new watch.

Aye, that's my slight fear too. It just does everything brilliantly.

When looking for an IWC xv for sale some have the square hands like yours and others pointed hands.
    What’s that about
    Thanks

There were two versions, the XV model was the transitional model available with both handsets and different dials.
