    Re: What's in a name.

I'm fairly new to forums, TZ-UK is the only one I've ever joined. It seems to me with social networks, forums, chat rooms and online auctions etc. many people choose to hide behind an internet alter-ego, choose a wacky name and upload a weird photo and take on a personality different to their normal behavior. I've read things on the internet written by (I believe) normal people left that just wouldn't be said in face to face conversation. You only need to look at a Youtube video of almost any subject and see the comments left below, people throw insults, hurl abuse to utter strangers for no reason other than their anonymity allows it.

I'm not suggesting that TZ members would do anything of the sort as this place is much more civilized than most but I feel that I only have one personality, one face, one identity, and that's the one I was born with so this is me, Chris Parker whether I'm online or in the pub.

My Username dogpuf is because I have a fetish for male dogs and their dangly bits - ONLY JOKING

It came from 2003 when Ebay was a mystery to me and I got by teenage son to help me setup my Ebay account. I think at the time there was an animated TV series and one of the characters was called dogpuf and my son set me up with dogpuf as my account name as a joke (he thought it was amusing). I thought at the time it was a bit strange but 5.5 years later on I am still using it. For ebay its ideal as its anonymous and thats a good thing on that dodgy market place

Jesper because that is my name. 451 is from the novel Farenheit451 by Ray Bradbury. I need something to different me from all others Jespers out there so I took that code and yes I really like the book and the film.
