I was brought up in Wallasey and for a few years ran with Wallasey Running Club, hence Wallasey Runner. However, I haven't lived in Wallasey for the best part of 30 years now and haven't run for a number of years (hips and knees won't let me) - so my user name is horribly out of date and I would change it if I could.

A nickname given by a friend, a play on my surname and and a reference to my unruly mop of hair in primary school, it was untameable.

Nickname I got at Uni, in our debates.
Louis Antoine de Saint-Just, known as Saint-Just, was heading the Comité de Salut Public during the years that followed the French Revolution, and had a fairly direct and uncompromising style of debate. He died under the guillotine together with his friend Robespierre.

It so happens that it also resonated with a small village in the Basque Country where I had some cousins, Saint-Just-Ibarre.
So I embraced the name ever since, and have always been Saint-Just on all forum I have been.

My favourite whisky. Changed spelling a bit for fun. Shouldn’t have done that in hindsight as most pm’s I receive now assume my name is really Glen(n).

I’ll have to change my forum name when I leave for warmer climes. Planned before the end of this year if all goes to plan!

I love bicycles made with traditional lugs so use this on various bike fora. Fortuitously, the handle also works here and on other watch sites.

My name is David, my surname starts with a J. The 54 is a totally irrelevance, not my birth year or anything - about 10 years ago I signed up to a betting account and davidj54 was the ID they assigned me. For some reason it stuck in my head as a username for this and that. Incredibly boring!

I am neither someone from 'queer eye', nor am I obsessed with an aftershave called '4711'!

I use mnemonics to remember numbers- this started in roughly 1997 when I was a kid and I used the shirt numbers of Arsenal players to remember phone numbers and pin codes. The numbers 4,7 and 11 became my 'lucky' numbers somehow (Vieira, Platt and Overmars if you're interested!).

Still use the numbers from that squad now if I ever need to remember a number! So if I'm in a hotel, I remember my room number as eg Dixon, Grimandi, Garde (21819).

Oh, and my name is Thom :)

My lack of sport following would leave me locked out of every hotel I’ve ever been away in. I take a photo of my door, the hotel address and then email it to my other phone should one get stolen. I have learned from experience that a business trip without any sense of direction & local spirits has made it a troublesome night!

My name is Wiley and I have no imagination. Think I had some issues signing up for here on Tapatalk and bog standard Wiley was taken so went with how my wife shouts my name from the bottom of the stairs. Wish I picked a made up name for the forum now to be even slightly anonymous but oh well, done now.

Mine dates from the late 90s. Back then, before IT security was overbearing, I worked in an office of networked CAD machines. Every lunchtime consisted of 2hrs of Doom or Quake network death match battles and general chaos and expletives across the open plan office - happy days.

Anyhow, most of my colleagues used suitably aggressive character names such as The Claw, Axeman and the like, so I decided to take a different path. After a bit of brainstorming, possibly a lunchtime pint, and from god-only knows where, the great warrior known as Mr Nuttington-smythe was unleashed on an unsuspecting office...

At some point over the years the smythe vanished, but Mr Nuttington has persisted.

First name followed by the first letter of my surname.
It is not realy my first name but my second, my father mixed those up at birth, but I use it as my first. Both start with the same letter.

First name and surname separated by a number that I've found crop up at random times over the years. Do a lot of people have that, a strange number that always appears? Table number in a restaurant, bus number etc that seems to be more than coincidence?

I used to be "A Man of Kent" . After a house move I am barely on the edge of Kent and strictly speaking now a "Kentish man" depending on which tradition you follow.

I must have the dumbest one yet. The 99 has no meaning.

Xellos is a fictional character and primary figure in the Slayers fantasy comedy light novel series and its manga, anime, and other adaptations. He is a powerful Mazoku (monster), who is both a help and a hindrance to protagonist Lina Inverse and her friends. Xellos is the single most powerful servant of Zelas Metallium, who in turn is one of the five retainers of Ruby Eye Shabranigdo, one of the Slayers series' deity-like beings. Because of this relationship, some consider Xellos Metallium to be his full name, but he calls himself simply "Xellos, the Mysterious Priest"

I had them in the early 70's and also had skinners.
A few years ago I started getting into the old skinhead/ska scene again before I decided I looked a right Pratt.
I got some Flemings from Wallasey mail order and they were still good.

Named after a silly 1988 sci-fi film that's so crap it's quite good. Wear special shades and the aliens are revealed. I must have seen it around the time of opening an account.

    What's in a name.

PAW are my initials and 3001 is my PIN number...

...sorry, I mean it is just the next millennium and one after my favourite comic, 2000AD.

Ok it’s just random numbers as PAW was too short and needer to be made longer on another site and has been used ever since

    It really isn’’t my PIN

User name/ID for a number of computer systems at BT , can't remember what they were though!
It's part of my surname and I assume there were 67 others with same name enrolled on system before me.
