    PSA Mango lovers

It's pretty hard in the UK to get good quality mangoes like you get in Southeast Asia. You can periodically get the Indian and Pakistani ones in Asian stores but not much use if you dont live nearby. Else the supermarkets stock the South American varieties which are IMHO nowhere near as tasty.

Just tried these in Waitrose - 2 packs for £4 (so £1 a mango). They are superb! They taste like Thai mangoes. You may need to leave them out of the fridge for a day so they go a bit yellow but they are absolutely banging flavour.

Thanks for sharing Ryan as one of my boys absolutely loves Mangos (esp one’s eaten in Thailand!). Now to find my nearest Waitrose

Surprisingly they’re not too expensive here, but mango chutney is bloody expensive, so I buy mangoes and make this.

Try Suroor market in New Malden/Kingston Vale. Just off the A3 and a couple/few miles from you.

Boxes of Alphonso mangos a couple of weeks ago when I went for my Middle Eastern/Asian shop for goodies.
