    I like this chaps videos, a nice looking example but I would have left the hands alone.

    Absolutely fascinating to watch these experts at work, when you think of the cost should you mess up when working on that dial & handset. Surely patience has got to be high up on the list working with such tiny parts, and I’d imagine the strain on the eyes continually looking thru magnifier’s must eventually take its toll. Great link and thanks for posting it.

    Fascinating stuff indeed and great skill. I’m equally not sure about having the hands relumed, is it that a normal thing for a Milsub owner to do, I thought originality was everything.

    He did say that the hands had already been relumed at some point hence him doing the colour match. He also relumed the hands on the Australian mil sub in one of his other videos if I remember rightly.

    Fair enough and if the hands were trashed you would have little option. I had hands relumed on a Speedmaster Ed White, but that was not quite in this league. The watch did look stunning when finished.
