You were poor today but I thought we kept Haji Wright quiet.
I think a lot of results rely on playing teams in poor form and you are certainly in that at the moment.
We have one or two different options now when attacking and capitalised on it.

I think "poor" is being kind, that was the worst performance for a long time. Really hard to fathom how the same group of players can look great one game and so poor the next. I like Robins, but he's got to be under pressure now from an ambitious owner and getting rid of Viveash does not seem to have helped.

our customary defeat away to Blackburn...

not helped by a slightly harsh straight red in the final seconds of the first half when 0-0. suspect the ref was influenced by their players implying the death sentence would be lenient and the idiot fell for it; very unpleasant and whiny bunch indeed.

then disallows a goal for us when our massive bruising striker Smyth (5'4" and 8' dripping wet) outmuscled their CB who was screaming like a bitch..... some modern football really boils my piss!

Could have been worse, WB, you might have sprinted out of Ewood to catch the last 60 mins of Wigan at home to Exeter.

It was only last Feb we beat Blackburn at theirs though - I recognised some of the pies...

    glutton for punishment!

yes, February was a rare victory there; not quite as bad as the City Ground was, but not far off.

Hull City season ticket holder here. Started to look reasonably good in attack. Our right winger Belloumi looks like a star in the making with 2 well taken goals on Saturday. He looks more of an attacking threat than Philogene last season. We’re still far too open defensively. We’ll see how we go as the season progresses. I’d take mid table now, there’s been such an influx of new players, it will take a while adapting.

Tough game last night and Leeds were great to watch.

We have come a long way since last season’s matches, a few months ago we would have lost that three or four one. Great defending which was superb to watch.

Hull on Saturday and with both teams on form it should be a great game

Fingers crossed. We never do well at Carrow Road. There’ll certainly be goals, we are very open defensively.

Do you think that Giles will be able to get back into 1st XI?

Leeds just missing that 15-20 goal a season striker but it's early yet, thought they played some very good stuff and defended well, as Norwich were decent and looked threatening on the break (without really creating much at all ie Meslier made no saves at all). Think you'll be up there come the season end but more likely play offs then auto spots maybe

No, he’s got a poor attitude and hasn’t lived up to expectations so far. We were obligated to buy him as part of the loan deal last year. I can see him being moved on in January. We have Cody Drameh who was brought in to challenge Louis Coyle at right back. Coyle has been brilliant so far and is the first name on the team sheet. Drameh is playing left back and looking far superior to Giles.

Norwich played well. Scoreline flattered us a bit. We are too open defensively, as illustrated today.

We were all expecting a real battle today buddy maybe if you had not rattled the woodwork at 2-0 it may have been a closer game. But saying that the two one on ones with your keeper should have been buried, the form both Nunez and Sarge are on they should have been bolt on’s. Likewise with the pen, Josh is pretty good hitting the post is not him.

Marcondes dropped yesterday which was out of the blue and I thought he looked lively when he came on. The last free agent striker we signed was a Mr Pukki, he turned out to be not too shabby.

On the the next after the silly break.

Good performance and result for you. You were patient and kept doing the right things. Your forward line is absolutely rapid. The gulf between the teams was massive.

You’re right on the coat tails of the red and white shite.

Massive win for Leeds as they will stumble, points in the bag.

Farke is a great manager but one dimensional, the league will again sus him out.

    Don't be so hasty.
I think we are arguably stronger this season than last.
We've made some good signings all over the pitch, in particular a more progressive midfield.

To be fair they’ve been excellent this season. It’s amazing what a decent coach can do with a squad that is weaker than last season.

My god that was a tough watch today but something big is happening an our little ole club. ……..

This week…….Delia handed the batten over to the Yanks, Jack Wiltshire joins the coaching team, exactly 12 months after Knapper leaves Arsenal (????) and draw two games coming back from two goals down. And with key players out.

Gonna be a funny ole season

How did QPR play against 10 man Sunderland?

I don't think I've seen as poor a side as Plymouth yesterday at Elland Road.
I know they had injuries but no shots on or off target, no corners and four for five touches in the box.

I watched the game and thought Sunderland were the better team. QPR had more possession once they had the extra man but I felt Sunderland were never in danger of losing the game. Jobe’s red was a definite red but not intentional or with any malice in my opinion.

Yes, I saw the tackle and I suppose the ref had no choice.
It looked like momentum carried him through after shrugging off the tackle and just loosing control.

Now looking for a new manager. Robins had done a great job for the club, but just can't get any consistency out of the players, last night was super poor against a weak Derby side. It was like watching a non-league match at times.

Even the club recognise he's outperformed the budget/resources etc but they sack him after 6 good years because of a few poor performances (incl 2 wins and a draw in their last 4). They deserve to go the way of Birmingham...

Super Frank now favourite for our next manager. Good spirit to come back from two goals down against Sunderland but equally a poor showing led to being two down in the first place. I'm still sure there is a top six side in there waiting to show itself but you can't get there only playing well 20% of the time. International break timing is ideal.

I had your lot down for a draw in our group acca and by half time wondered what I was thinking.

I missed the game (tv or otherwise) but mates said we were shite!

we are on a slippery slope having lost to all of the teams we think we should be competitive against.

a few injuries and the summer signings based on a vague 'moneyball' notion simply haven't worked. We gave them a couple of months to adjust to the EFL but we are realistically past that point now; going to be a long & cold winter in West London!

    Play Up Pompey

Portsmouth Season ticket holder here and I knew this league would be tough, but to be second bottom and only 2 wins 🤷*♂️I hope after the international break we can hit the ground running and win some games as I have seen worse teams this season for sure PUP

Great showcase for the league and attacking football, fairplay to Swansea and I thought Grimes and Key were excellent.
Can't conceding goals like that though, if Leeds want automatic promotion...

Bit of a mad game really with two of the better defences on show.
With the amount of room both teams seem to have and poor defending on either side you've just got to put it down to 'one of those days'.
Swansea played some very good football and really went for it I thought which in the end was their undoing.

Leicester were by far the best team in the league last season and on paper we are this year.
Tanaka is buy of the season and we have arguably more goals all round even though we've lost our top scorer.
I think we're going to have a strong end to the season if we can keep players fit.

    Big game tonight.
I fancy Sheff Utd as the home team and I think that anyone who finishes above them will get promoted.
