CWC Divers - bracelet for fixed lugs

I think we can thank williemays for bringing it up elsewhere on the forum and it now appears to be available; it's a bracelet that fits over the fixed lugs on a CWC diver.

I received an email today to indicate that the basic version is now live and they appear to have a SBS black version coming through later.

Doesn't look bad value for £119. There a couple of caveats about bent lugs and early models.

Yes, I've just had the mail as well. I was just about to buy one but then I realised that it has a matte/brushed finish and my CWC diver has a polished top - I'm not sure it would be such a good look.

However, I see that here are plans to offer another bracelet in the future which seems to have polished centre links which might work better,

    or

do what you're meant to and wear a the watch on a Nato!

I first noticed this on a CWC Facebook group. It is an interesting idea. I wonder if the screws that secure the end links to the case will be reliable, especially for people who frequently swap the bracelet for straps. Also, I would have preferred an on-the-fly adjustable or ratcheting clasp, and a more pronounced taper. A video review would be helpful, if anyone spots one.

Hmmmmm there are plenty of Monnin cased watches that take a strap or bracelet.
The fixed bars is kind of the USP. Show them off

Well I’ve decided to take a punt on one, to go on my Matt case RN Diver. I think it could be a fun thing to try every now and again. If I don’t like it I’m sure it will sell on. I shall post some pics when it arrives.

Quick photo of my RN Diver on the sigma bracelet. I’m impressed with the quality and it certainly changes the appearance of the watch. It won’t be a permanent switch from a nato but it’s a nice change for a while.
I would like to have seen slightly more of a taper on the bracelet and the screws which clamp the end links to the fixed bars could definitely do with a dab of loctite for security, which is an issue if you like to change straps frequently.

I'm with you. If I wanted a modern Monnin on a bracelet I'd get a Momentum or a HGP. That said, it does look they have done a good job, plus the photo is cool.
