Thank you very much for the post, very interesting and as i have a thing for black faced watches i would fancy owning a few of them.

I was actuallly issued a PRS 17A and wore it through the first Gulf War in 91, had to hand it back after though.

    Hi Rui,

Thanks for this post, which is a phenomenal resource. Why not include the current PRS-3LE and PRS-3 models? Should the PRS-4 photo appear below the PRS-4 description?

For those models that are "homages" , I would be interested to keep track of their "inspirations", assuming that wouldn't be off-limits.

    Cheers!

    Good day!

I am not so fond of Precista watches. Do you mind if I ask you what are the difference between a ROLEX watch compared to Precisat watches. This is my first time of seeing this kind.

    Kindly PM me ASAP.

Great post. I have a page in my notebook where I was attempting, slowly and over time, to collect all this information in one place. Thanks.

    Kind Regards to All,

Re: Precista watches: Past and current models

    Hello,

Newbie here. Got the Precista bug. Really love both the PRS-14 and the PRS-18. Will most likely eventually get both as finances allow.

I understand the PRS-18 s are on there way. The PRS -14 are in stock but I really think I want the PRS-18 first probably the auto but quartz would be ok as well.

Are there any pics of them side by side to compare sizes?

I could cut and paste pics but not knowing distance of watch relative to lens when pic was taken it is hard to compare relative sizes.

I did see the pics of the military collections which helped a bit but these are vintage are the newest models of PRS 14 and 18 true to vintage sizes (It appears some models have gone thru some evolution of the years)

Thanks for the patients with the newbie,

    And nice to meet everyone

    I know I'm a Yank but I do own 2 Triumphs.

    Cheers

    Earl

    Hi Earl,

    Try this thread : viewtopic.php?f=17&t=34778&p=349415&hilit=prs18+v+ prs14#p349415

Pics have been deleted I'm afraid. Try searching, I'm sure there's another thread comparing the two.
