Thanks for sharing your story. What a great series it is. I recently rewatched it and it’s still as good as I remember.
On June 10th, 2007 the final episode of The Sopranos aired on HBO. 17 yrs ago(!) and some are still talking about the way it ended.
Back in 2022, I visited Holsten in New Jersey where the last episode ended. I was totally amazed to find out that the interior of the shop that you see on TV is actually the normal, original interior. There was no studio set built for that. Even the spot where Meadow Soprano parked her Lexus is actually a normal parking spot on the street across Holsten's. There was one change though... James Gandolfini had gained so much weight over the years that he wouldn't fit behind the table (fixed to the floor). The producers & Holsten owner(s) decided to get a carpenter in for 'adjustment' and a few days later, the final scene was shot, with J.G. behind the table.
During the Sopranos Tour we took, we heard that the David Chase was a 'regular' at Holsten when he was younger. Holsten sells ice cream, chocolate candy and has a limited menu card. He'd picked that spot as an 'ode' to his childhood in New Jersey. (I have more pics than this one, but I noticed that these pics also contain people's faces and I don't want to post that)

I’ve watched nothing better before or after, superb.
Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner later.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Let me tell you a couple of three things.
Best TV show of all time for me.
Gets better every rewatch.
It’s not a nursing home. It’s a retirement community!!!

Quality show. Great to see some of the original sites.
Cheers,
Neil.
The episode with Christopher in Hollywood trying to get his script sorted was great. The bit when he gets given a free watch as a hand me down is great!
We started watching the Sopranos just last night (series one, episode one)
About twenty years behind the rest of the world I think :)
Very much enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to immersing myself in the whole lot.
Best wishes,
Martyn.
I started listening to the Woke up this morning audiobook the other day. In it they mentioned that Bocca means mouth in Italian.
Which means nothing unless you know that Junior goes ‘South of the border, where the Tuna fish play’
