    Same again, typical Bloo.
Look at me , I’m a cITY fan. Born and bred Stockport.
Those nasty yoonited, always better than us. It’s not fair. I was there at Maine Road when yoonited held all the attendance records.

You and Captain knob are peas in a pod , playing on the poor neighbour card, everyone loves Ciddy and hates Yoonited.
Well not anymore and you don’t like it.
    Stick to watches.
I’ve not seen you mention Old Scaffold, whiskey nose, or any of the other Blue Moon ridiculous comments trotted out ad nauseam (spelling) recently.

I’m fed up reading your nonsense without recourse, always expecting backup from the UTD haters.
I don’t hate City, I hate Liverpool, I despise City.
At least the money that comes into United, Liverpool and Arsenal is money earned, not money laundering.

    Oh no
    Colour me offended .
Crack on with your hatred, it’s giving me a warm glow .
A couple of things . I don’t do Blue Moon . You weren’t always better than us and you didn’t have the attendance record , ever .
And I’m not from Stockport .
Who is Captain knob btw ?
Maybe someone else who might have upset your world recently ?
    Fed up ?
    Once again
    Hilarious

Why is your only defence of your club is to attack other clubs?

Gibson did bankroll united, in the second division, he didn't live to see united win a league, he also bankrolled the rebuilding of old Trafford after it was bombed in WW2. A wee bit different I'd say

So let's get back to city. City have history of going on the attack to avoid criticism, like sending their highly paid lawyers after the victims of Barry benell, to ensure that city could not be held to account for the child abuse they suffered whilst Barry was a coach, I mean contractor, at city

Real classy, you are right to be proud......

I don’t attack them , I simply highlight the hypocrisy of the fans who are only upset that City are winning trophies .
I’ll happily stick to football matters but it seems others can’t .
I’ll defend the club as best I can certainly when it’s based on an assumption of guilt by others .

Let me ask anyone this .
If City are cleared of the charges , do you think that would be the end of the matter ? Or would it be “ they’ve paid them off “ or some such bull ?
I think I know the answer

Its no different if Newcastle's Saudi state owners started pumping 100's of millions into the club and accounted for the money via over inflated sponsorship deals with Saudi based businesses, then they started winning most major trophies and from the humble fans point of view its cheating, fake football.

From the leagues point of view its dangerous to allow club owners to go on billion pound spending sprees and I think Chelsea have it coming if they are not careful, in regards to if City are cleared question - I dont think the pay off excuse is valid, simply your club owners have so much money they can enlist the very best legal teams, tie up and probably win most cases, they will still be guilty in many peoples eyes but money will talk in the court room I think..

And if Newcastle did , so what ?
The game is played with 11 players on the pitch . If Newcastle’s 11 cost 20 times what Arsenals or City’s did , then that’s just the way it’s always been , surely ?
Weren’t Real Madrid feted for their Galacticos ?

Related sponsorship deals have always been a thing too . Chairmen would historically have sponsors from within their own network and what is happening today is simply a global extension to this , surely ?

For inflated sponsorship deals , look at Uniteds deal with Chevrolet or Liverpools record breaking shirt deal with Warrior . I don’t remember a furore over these .

Anyway, I’ve said it before but I’m done until the season starts .

The PL are also spending millions on legal fees and have appointed top KCs themselves. Ultimately it will be a legal case based around competition law and whose argument wins the day with the arbitration panel. Those who think a City victory in the legal case would open the floodgates to them spending what they want are misguided.

Anyone willing to see past tribal rivalry should listen or watch Stefan Borsan on Talk Sport who, as a former corporate tax lawyer for City speaks clearly and with common sense. He’s also not afraid to criticise City.

So Liverpools 25m a year deal with warrior who did not share ownership with Liverpools owners is somehow equivalent to 100s of millions of fake sponsorship,

    Behave.

Whys the Warrior deal mentioned ?

Warrior wanted to break into football. 25m a season for the 3rd best selling football kit in world football at the time.

Warrior have no links to FSG and were owned by New Balance.

2 seasons later City with a global fan base of zero and global kit sales of zero signed a deal for around 50m a season.

    Strange numbers.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea makes a few changes in their midfield lineup they've seemed a bit off the pace, and fresh legs could really shake things up. Maybe this time they will have some luck, lol. I really enjoy watching the Premier League because of teams like Chelsea or Liverpool. Also, I am a big fan of PSG. They have one of the starting 11, you can see it here psg vs stade rennais f.c. lineups.

We’re really seeing the impacts of PSR and FFP on Newcastle and Villa. Both have money in the bank they can’t spend yet Chelsea continue to buy at will. If it goes on long term and only the same teams keep winning the trophies then the viewing public will lose interest.

The same teams have won 99% of every trophy available in the English game for the past 40 years and viewing figures have only ever increased.

It’s all bollocks. Gordon isn’t leaving. I’m sick of the media inventing stories about our players. We know they all want us to fail and they know we aren’t allowed to spend any money. I’ve said it before but PSR and FFP will kill the golden goose. It’ll turn the EPL into the SPL with only the chosen few winning everything. Once that happens there’ll be less interest in the EPL product and well, you know the rest.

    Premier League 2024 - 2025

Why do you keep saying, the same few teams winning everything will make it boring ?

The same few teams DO win everything already and have done for years.

Nobody’s sick of it and the product has continually got bigger.

He’s done well on loan in Holland, scored a fair few goals. He was bought for our future and we didn’t want to sell him but had to so the bean counters are happy.

So £33m for a player that's never played in the first team ?

Wonder what player will move from Brighton to Newcastle for, you guessed it £33m

That won’t happen, we need to bring cash in for PSR and FFP.

Arsenal have just agreed the signing of Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna for around £50m.

He's very highly rated in Italy, is versatile and only 22 years old so hopefully this is a decent signing.

Seems like Jakub Kivior will be leaving to go to Juventus.

Not confirmed Calafiori yet. Fee still to be finalised. Once Fabrizio says 'Here we go' then it's done. Not until.

I'd be worried that Yoro's teeth will be playing opposing attackers onside next season.

And nobody in their right mind is leaving Arsenal to join United unless it's because they get a better chance of 1st team football. I can see them going to Bayern, Real etc but not the Rags. Unless you're referring to Chido Obi-Martin who is a good prospect but for sure not the brightest.

Btw Arsenal's hottest academy prospect is Max Dowman (he's also rated as the hottest English prospect overall - he's 14 but is in the U18 squad and has been issued with a 1st team squad number for the upcoming season!). His family are Arsenal fans so he won't be going anywhere. The other top prospect is Ethan Nwaneri who holds the record as the youngest ever PL player at 15 years of age (he's now 17) and he'll get more 1st team minutes in the upcoming season.

Got to say that Bergvall and Gray are two exceptional signings, and young to boot. Now we need a bloody good striker.

Lol, do you really believe your favourite London team are that big of a draw?

    How cute.

Oh dear, one of your post before thinking contributions. Totally unnecessary.

What, because United won the FA Cup against a City side that had been on the lash for a week? Arsenal are on a far better trajectory than the Rags. Although to be fair our stadium doesn't have a waterfall so maybe that's the draw.

Well we don't have to overpay for dross like United do.

We've just signed Serie A's best defensive prospect for £34m. You had to pay over £50m for a French 18 year old that Lille insisted went to Old Trafford so that Real Madrid wouldn't get him for free next season.

Yes, exactly that, and the Carabao cup the year before.

Or you could have a Community Shield won on penalties against a City side in pre season training mode - qualification for which was achieved, don’t forget, by winning absolutely nothing the season before - and nothing else since 2020.

Just to be clear I hope Man Utd win nothing this season. For Arsenal it always seems to be jam tomorrow. Maybe 24/25 will be different.
