Sorry for getting drawn in .
I’ll deal with off field issues when it’s dealt with .
Anyway Harwood Bellis has signed for Ryan’s favourites, Southampton . Keep an eye on this lad , he’s got a lot of good attributes. Just too far down the pecking order at City so it’s a great move for him and he will get to showcase his ability in the Premier League .
On a separate note , one or both of my two tickets are , for one reason or another, available on a first come first served basis for each match to opposition fans .
It’s in the home end so you will need to sit on your hands if your lot get a throw in or some other rarity , but it’s a fairly family oriented part of the stands .
There are caveats . My daughter will use the ticket when she’s home on occasions , and there’s a previous user on here who will sometimes use both . I can’t be much clearer as it’s too complicated to outline everything.
Be assured, if you want the ticket and it’s available, and you’re the first to ask I’ll arrange access . Downside is sometimes , I’ll use the other one .
Everyone deserves the chance to see the greatest team ever , live .
It’s open to all , even you Ivan .
Happy to answer questions by PM .

I'll gladly take one or both Villa tickets if they're availble when the time comes mate. Happy to buy you or your daugher a bit of a lunch and a drink beforehand as well. And no worries about me getting a bit excited there, our record at your place has been dreadful for decades, even when you were shite and we were decent!
You follow Southampton too ? Like Ryan ?
This is confusing !! Is it an Arsenal thing ?
Yeah , I think the stakes will be high when Arsenal come to City . They won’t be the only challenger though . I fancied Chelsea last year, not so much in the league but in the cups and I think they were one of the form teams towards the end of last season . With ( another) Pep lite in charge , they could be dark horses . There’s just too much talent there to be dismissed.
The ticket thing will become clearer when fixtures are released . There will be short notice fixture changes too which will cause more confusion but most weekends would stay as the same fixture .

My family moved down to Southampton when I was around 5 from London, first love always been Arsenal but have a serious soft spot for the saints especially going to see them a few times when a kid - my first introduction to live football was at the Dell and I enjoy taking my boys to St Mary’s
Old man is a season ticket holder now and definitely enjoyed his day out if the “just got home” text sent at 1am on Monday morning was anything to go by !!
Wow that's interesting.
My family moved to Poole in Dorset when I was 9 (from Australia). I got into football and listened to Radio Solent where the 3 teams they featured every Saturday were Saints, Pompey and Bournemouth so I had a soft spot for all 3, would see Bournemouth every couple of weeks at Dean Court (local team, they were in what is League 1 today) and went to the Dell to see Southampton at times (they were the team in the top division).
Became an Arsenal fan after witnessing what is still the greatest top flight moment (just ahead of 'Aguerooooo') when Michael Thomas got the 2nd goal at Anfield at the death.
So Arsenal is the main team but I retain a soft spot for Saints and Bournemouth, and to a lesser degree Portsmouth.
Also listen out for the Arbroath scores after going to Gayfield many years ago to watch them play one absolutely freezing afternoon.
My love for Southampton is confined to the 1976 Cup Final .

I do .
They have been a source of great amusement in the last few years .
Being a solo City fan in a Salford school was interesting to say the least. Add to that , the ribbings I received in my playing years whilst United were all conquering was character building to an extent .
Funnily enough , the same people have “ fallen out of love “ with football recently .
Well, up until last Saturday, obviously.
Small world !!
But how on earth can you like saints and the scum (Pompey!!) I shouldn’t be proud of this but I am, last term I was told by my youngest boys teacher he was teaching his mates the “when I was just a little boy” saints chant and we should tell him to stop. Needless to say my wife was not amused when I bought him about £20 worth of chocolate after school that day 😂
Very hard to call IMO. Fairly sure that City and Arsenal will battle it out for 1st and 2nd, and I would have had a sneaking suspicion that Chelsea would get 3rd but the sacking of Poch makes that a harder call. That said, I do think that Spurs, Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea will be the clubs going for 3rd and 4th. I think Villa will fish in the next couple of places but can't see then getting CL football again if I'm honest.
Lots of variables that could impact the above, of course, including manager changes and new signings. It's going to be a long season for sure.
Ain't that the truth. It was like flying ant day.
On a different matter re your tickets. I intend to go to every match on my season ticket but sometimes life gets in the way. There are 4 of us sit together and have each home ticket delivered to our phone wallets be it android or iphone. If this is the same for you, how do you manage to pass them on? Sometimes last season we had interested friends, but as our tickets were 'trapped' inside our phones, we just listed them on the ticket exchange. I know from an android point of view, you can't screenshot the ticket and the barcode rotates in order to stop touting outside.
We found that if we downloaded the ticket, then sent on the original email , they could download it as normal . Just hope nobody at City sees this .
The photo thing definitely didn’t work on ours .
If all else fails , I’d swipe you / them in . Problem being , I’m generally running late and miss a few minutes of some games .

Maresco to Chelsea on a 5 year deal !
Another Pep protege .
Tosin in to fill the huge hole left by Thiago Silva . He’s a decent centre half but that’s a massive step to make .
Could be another crazy season for them

Isak to Arsenal is a no, Newcastle won't sell him but it seems like a deal for Osimhen is getting done, he's said he's keen to come to the Emirates and they are hoping to wrap it up shortly after the window opens. I'm not sure he's that good - fee will be over £100m and he was rubbish at the AFCON. I'd have preferred Isak although to be fair he's always injured.
Raya will sign for Arsenal for £27m (he was on loan last season from Brentford).
Surprise interest in Bryan Mbueno from Brentford. The Benjamin Sesko deal should get done but he's more of a project striker. And we are also after another Ajax defender and a PSV winger.
Zinchenko and Sambi Lokonga seem like they are leaving Arsenal and off to Bayern. £47m for the pair. Ramsdale apparently off to Newcastle, around £30m. Surely Nketieh will be off as well.
Isak isn’t “always injured”, that’s just what fans who wanted to buy someone say when they can’t get them. Ramsdale isn’t coming to Newcastle, he’s not an upgrade on Pope. Both aren’t good enough in my opinion. I’d rather sign little arms than either of them and he’s a six-toed mutant.
I’d be very surprised if Osimhen ends up at Arsenal - he’d blow the wage structure right up plus what do you do with Havertz and Jesus if you (potentially) end up with Sesko , Jesus , Havertz and Osimhen all that with out a number 6being added to the squad
we should throw 50/60 million at palace and snap up Wharton asap
Maresca confirmed as new Chelsea Head Coach.
So the Yes Man that the chuckle brothers wanted. Little to no say on transfers. On a five year deal ffs. Could well be another Potter.
Not feeling remotely confident. If FFP points deduction comes along because the owning group think they can play Monopoly and sell a hotel to themselves; we could well be relegation candidates.
Now fully expect the clowns to sell Chalobah, Gallagher and Maatsen for a total of £65m and blow £100m on another unproven bit of potential

You couldn't make this up
Despite their protests of innocence against the charges levelled against them by the PL, city are now suing them for discrimination regarding the associated party transaction rules 😂

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see legal challenges to UEFA FFP rules in the not too distant future.
Whether people like it or not football is anti competitive in it's current guise. Current FFP rules benefit the already successful clubs so where's the incentive for a local boy turned billionaire buying his childhood club with dreams of winning the PL or CL if he can't invest what he needs to make them competitive. Surely having all 20 PL clubs capable of challenging is the Utopia but it's never going happen in the status quo.
There's only two ways, IMHO, to address the imbalance and that's to have a salary cap, either individually or by team, or to allow any owner to invest what they want into their own club. Any Fit and proper rules should be built around the original premise of FFP which was to protect clubs from being saddled with unserviceable debts when rogue owners walk away.
Just looking at Newcastle's recent takeover. The Saudis don't do things by halves. They'd have bought Newcastle with the intention of winning titles but they would also know that current FFP rules would likely make this difficult. I wouldn't at all surprised if Saudi PIF explored all future legal options before committing to buy.
“tyranny of the majority”
Which exec read that and thought “that’s a perfect tag line, run with it” - I mean seriously?!
Any chance we can either have a ban on Man City and Liverpool fans sniping at each other on this thread or start a new one just for that? Something like the 'Man City and Liverpool moan and rant thread'. I appreciate we could branch out into new threads for the intolerable being of Arsenal, the gross injustice of being a Spurs fan and why your club really doesn't want to be in a European league with the money and squad size of a club regularly in Europe, but the Man City and Liverpool thing is just tedious now.
"A man of little significance"
If City are found guilty I think the only apt punishment is relegation for Spurs.
Funny how De Bruyne and Haaland are coy on their contract talks, Pep has left the door open about leaving next season and out of the blue (see what I done there!) comes a legal attack on the PL.
The money Abu Dhabi oil can throw at this legal process will be astonishing so it wouldnt surprise me if they get away with it, if it goes down like the Trump trial (guilty on all charges) which it will have too if FFP is to be upheld then MC should face a monster punishment akin to Rangers demotion..
Playing Devil's advocate here, City's owners are trying to use their wealth to bolster the quality of the club and win trophies (successfully I might add). How is that different to what the other big teams have historically done? Seems a bit like the big clubs don't want City to be able to benefit from the same advantages they had.
I suspect Newcastle's owners will be looking at this with interest.
Probably not that different in principle.
But presumably rules have changed since ye olden days.
Maybe City thought better to beg forgiveness that ask permission. Who knows. Maybe they are just misunderstood?
Lance Armstrong was a record breaker, a history maker, totally innocent and victim of a nefarious establishment. Until he wasn't.....

The likes of Man United, Liverpool have made money historically from a world wide fan base which then swells into bigger sponsorship and revenues - just like any other well run business they generate their own money.
Oil based owners can divert large amounts of money from Middle East businesses they have an interest in - the main sponsors of MC (Etihad) are owned by the same owners I believe, sort of cooking the books you could say..
That’s very true .
United didn’t have a sugar daddy called James Gibson and Liverpool were definitely not bank rolled by the Moore’s family .
Honestly , do a bit of research before you trot out the same tired cliches about certain football clubs .
Liverpool and United were at the forefront of the Premier League because in their benevolence they sought to earn more money from the TV rights than other members of the league .
They then repeated the feat at the unsuccessful attempt of the European Super League .
There’s not a football club in the pyramid that isn’t out for its own benefit .
It’s actually mad that the directive is that big bad City are trying to ruin the Premier League .

You really are a typical bloo.
Gibson hardly bankrolled the club with inflated sponsorship deals, underhand , brown envelope, payments to players and managers and falsified payments from minor women’s teams.
Get a grip, you’re not ickle ciddy anymore, you’re lying cheating thieves.
Money earned > money given.
Tick tock.
I’ll not get into Pep & his pep pills.
He’s a twice convicted drugs cheat.
To quote Tyler Hamilton, is it illegal to, no, is it immoral, yes.

Lying cheating thieves is actually hilarious coming from the supporter of a club who monetised a disaster , kicked survivors of said disaster out of their club homes once they were no good to the club .
A club whose chairman routinely sold rotten meat to schools . Whose son , when he became chairman , was known as a peeping tom .
Maybe we should get on to the 50 th Munich anniversary game when you paid Csntona to play , charged all the survivors tax on their meagre payout , forced them to pay for their own food etc etc
Jesus, I’d be proud of being a lying cheating thief rather than following that crooked empire .
Rags by name , rags by nature .
Your accounts are in The Cayman Islands , Scruffy Jim lives in Monaco to avoid his taxes , the begging bowl for the dump you play football in is being shoved under everyone’s nose .
The owners siphon money off every single day and your fans have a protest every few months when the team are playing crap .
But big bad serial trophy winners City are the problem .
Hilarious
