Big, but not too big.

I know! If I need to ask then . . . Anyway I thought I would still ask the collective on this one. I really like the colour. And the black ceramic case means it’s light weight for a large(er) watch. It’s not the first time I’ve had a larger chrono having had the Omega PO Chrono. I may even spring for the yellow strap on this Avenger..

Big, but not too big.

Looks ok to me,and a nice watch too.
As usual my advice is, if the lugs overhang it’s a no. Looks fine on your wrist. Certain watches are meant to wear large. This is one.

I reckon you can just about get away with that.
Eye catchingly big.
Wrist photos always make watches look too big. Good-looking watch.
Imo absolutely not and it looks great on the yellow strap, totally transforms it for me (and I'm not a Breitling fan generally). The darker bezel probably helps a fair bit but it makes a really good combo and summer piece especially.

It's not a shrinking violet, but neither does it fall into the 'Rapper's Watch' category.
Looks great to my eyes.
The first pic looks big, but that is probably the camera, the one on the yellow strap looks great.
Agree, that looks great on the yellow strap
Too big for me - the first shot is on your wrist but second one isn’t?
It's a beast alright! I wondered the same on my wrist when I tried it but I think photos make it look worse than it is in real life.
So tempting to go for my first "custard" 'ling at the time although I think I marginally preferred the black forged carbon fibre dial.
In the end I baulked at the price and left empty handed. This was Christmas time so not for me to buy my own gifts!
It's a big watch but endearingly so IMO.
I've got an Avenger Seawolf but wouldn't want to wear it all the time.
Cheers,
Neil.
I think you get a pass here. Take the wrist shot with 2.5 zoom. That seems to reduce the camera's tendency to magnify the watch and gives a photo more of an 'eye' perspective.

It looks fine to me.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Looks good to me, I like it
Looks fine. Try taking a picture a bit further away like the stock picture.
Explanation from a picture on watchuseek:

Difficult to tell from that pic, the camera distorts the size at that distance. Take a picture of yourself wearing it in a mirror and then zoom into your wrist. In my experience that’s the only real way you can tell. Cool watch, I’ve always liked the Breitling yellow.
I reckon that’s fine. It’s certainly not silly looking.
Watches always look bigger in selfies. Try holding the phone further away and zooming in, or taking a picture in a mirror for a more accurate representation of what it really looks like 'on wrist'
Yes it does but it’s meant to. It’s a bit like asking whether a big pilot wore too big.
If you like it, that’s all that matters
It does look big in the photos, but as others have said it is a big watch. I do agree that photos distort things. I’ve had 45mm Blancpains and 44.25mm Omegas which looked fine on the wrist but looked big in photos.
Bottom line, if you are happy with it when wearing it then all is good.
Too big for me with 7” wrist. But I am not the person who would be wearing it.
You are just bored and have withdrawal syndrome from the TZ-UK sales corner, languishing by your pool in Portugal. I can’t think of any watches that you own that I wouldn’t wear in preference to the Breitling.
Looks fine to me. As others have said, it is a big watch. Was similarly tempted but could not justify the price in my mind. On my 6.5ish wrist:
It looks big, but not grotesquely so. In the end, it depends on whether you like it yourself or not!
In my quest for a high-end watch I'm going to look at a pre owned Breitling Super Avenger 2 - that's a big beast 48mm across without crowns! I suspect that I'll love it immensely but it may be just too huge and loud for me to pull of confidently!
Personally, it looks too big and I couldn’t wear it. But it is your watch and you can do what you like!
I love avengers, got 2, seawolf and hurricane, whilst a big watch it wears ok ( even on bracelet) I use mine as a holiday watch, currently at Lego house.

No, I think it looks OK. Due the the type of watch it is, it's suitable.
Pictures are hard to tell on size , every time I do a wrist shot the watch always looks massive
My preference for a funky dial colour for Summer would be the 40mm yellow dial Scurfa D1 at a fraction of the cost !
Always thought Breitling designs look very "90s" ... and not in a good way LOL
I must be a very 90s person then! Breitling used to do lots of designs I liked - OK they were very in your face, but there was no mistaking them. I happened to look through their current range on their website today, and most of it was utterly anonymous and very dull. Certainly wouldn't drop a few £000 on any of them.
