Just returned from a short but efficient service trip back home. Very pleased to have it back.

Will it or won’t it be discontinued next month, rumours abound on both sides. Some say it will be dropped in favour of a new ceramic Coke, others think it has another year or two to run yet. As always only Rolex know, but they do have previous for resting the Pepsi.

It's a damned solid watch, and the lume is excellent.

Also wearing my latest arrival today. This little Silverwave can't compete with 50kopek's jewel count with 62 fewer than his Grand Prix.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    Enjoy your weekend.
It's not about the size (of the jewel count), but how you use it, right? And your Silverwave certainly competes in the looks department. It's the kind of watch that several years ago I wouldn't have liked, but now I really do. Funny how tastes change.

Likewise I wouldn't have normally liked this one. There are various aspects which, if taken individually, I wouldn't like but together they seem to work. Strange thing taste.

Thank Christ for that. It's been the final week of a four-week, production-cycle maelstrom, but I think I have some breathing space now

Becoming my standard Friday watch at the moment. Good luck with the hunt @Rocket Man , they're a lovely thing. Was a hard call between the 061 and 261. Fortunate as the seller had both at the time for the same price so got to decide for myself. Something about the cleaner dial just works for me and suits the Japanese minimalism.
