    Brushed out my PCL

Was looking online the other day and then saw what was used so decided to order the pads and tried it myself.

Took the links apart so only brushing the PCLs and not touching the outer links which are brushed anyway.

    Really happy with the results

Very professional looking result. Must take a while to get the bits that curve inwards at the edge?

Taking the whole bracelet apart made everything so much easier. Even the links near the clasp were able to be removed which really helped.

I did a quick video to show the process, was done on my phone so not amazing but you get the idea.

My phone doesn’t do very well at close ups but here is the photo cropped.

I didn’t touch the clasp just the centre links with the still polished on there for reference

That's what I'll be using on the PCL's of my Chronomaster Sport if I decide to go down that route.

^^^ Before and after, of course!

Just came back from Gingerboy after he brushed it for me - and such a difference!

    That's the look. Perfect.

I love refinishing a bracelet so I'll do the "before and after" once I get around to it.

Fantastic, and how it should come from the factory.

What have you done with the clap and it's star?

    That is a huge improvement.

Never understood all this polishing fetish that is all the rage with watch companies these days ... makes any watch look cheap in my opinion ...

All brushed, except the small section with the star itself.
Solves the problem of that being awkward, and actually I like it as a nice little accent

Nicely done. In doing this is there a lot of metal lost? Is it easy to go back to PCL of you need to sell?

Perfect from my perspective, transforms the watch fron dressy to 'tooly' with a bit of both.
That should be a factory option, especially for a watch at this price, if you see what I mean.
    Absolutely lovely.

stunning want mine down now ! I wish the clasp on these was a little more premium as well, for a 10k watch it should be

Just picked up a SeaQ Panoramadatum. The previous owner had the bracelet professionally brushed, but only the links he was using. I need one extra half-link. So, two questions for the OP:

    1. Where did you get the pads? (Amazon seems not to be the answer)
    2. How did you deal with the half-links where (as far as I can tell) you can't remove the centre from the side pieces? Heat tape on the already-brushed parts?

    Brushed out my PCL

I just did a Google search for those pads and found a company online selling them, nothing more fancy than that. Found a place that did all 3, was about £20 in total including postage and 3x 3 of each pad.

Are you talking about the half links near the clasp itself? They have a centre screw, same principle as the others just that it’s in the middle

    Brushed out my PCL

Just refitted the bracelet onto the watch and it looks great, very happy in how this has turned out and also adjusted the bracelet so that I can use the micro adjustment too
