Not looked into it much so I’m aware it is maligned but not sure why? What are the supposed issues? Is it just cos Rolex’s history isn’t in dress watches? I don’t understand cos from where I’m standing it’s a lovely thing.

Indeed. Lovely dress watch, and top quality too. If I'm not mistaken, this watch is a manual wind? Rolex don't do too many of those movements nowadays. That's a treat for me.
