A bit of daftness today. Back in the summer I dropped my Darth Tuna on a tiled floor and broke the ceramic shroud. I got a couple of steel ones from stitchesandbuckles in Singapore, one black and one plain blasted steel.

The black one is fine, a good replacement for the ceramic and with the advantage of being robust and not costing £500… I didn’t like the plain steel shroud when I fitted it. So I decided to have it cerakoted.

I fancied something a bit fun. So I had it done in hazard stripes. Yes, it’s barking mad. But I think it’s rather fun - and it’s two minutes’ work to swap back again if I want to be serious. Have a lovely weekend.

It’s been this Sekonda smart watch all week. Seems to do most of what an Apple watch can do, doesn’t need charging every day and only cost £40.

Wow so nice to see one!
Are there any other pics we can see on the forum?

Additionally some stunning watches today! Some unusuals that piqued my interest were the Dubey & Schaldenbrand and also that super cool Cerakote Seiko!

It’s the C1 Moonphase from Christopher Ward - it has a massively oversized moonphase, an aventurine dial and not much else - and it’s entirely enchanting.

Stunning. I'm after one of them, so if you ever lose your mind and sell onwards then do drop me a line!
