Gerard has just sold a 2012 auto diver on SC
On closer inspection it has a metal frame to the date window.
The only ones I’ve ever seen are the white painted box norms.
Is this a rare beastie ?

After you mentioned on the thread I had a look though older versions of the CWC website and I couldn’t find an example of another auto with a metal framed date wheel.
Me neither Gerard,
I’ve had a chat with Jon at CWCAddict and he’s not seen one either.
I’m thinking it might be quite rare.
I’m rather thinking I should have added “yes please” to my post
I'm pretty confident it will stay on the forum so you might yet get a chance.

I sent a mail to CWC in case they had any insight they could share.

From CWC - "there were two batches of production of these models with the metal frame around the date window. These were produced in 2012 and 2014. The model in your picture is from the batch of 2012."
