    Watchfinder submariner date b&p 16610 2004 」6k

Just had an email about this watch from Watchfinder. Catalogue photo and not much info as per typical of this company. Comes with box & papers. Thoughts?

Looks like it's sold. I got the same FOMO email. Tempting price, especially from a dealer.

I got the same email and clicked immediately and was already sold. Did it ever really exist, or was it clickbait for the other many subs they have over 」10k?

They actually deliberately do some amazing offers. It keeps you on their site to spot when they drop them.

I got the same e mail

I didn稚 actually want to buy it, I was intrigued to see how beaten up a 」6K sub with box and papers from Watchfinder would be!

Watchpro did a story on 5th Jan I am assuming same watch. However they stated 」5100 1994 and also fully serviced & refinished? Doesn't make sense to me. Took a couple of minutes to sell so as soon as the site was updated a person instantly bought it......

I clicked through on the link sent in that email as soon as it dropped in my inbox (The Rolex).....it was available so someone must have bought it soon after that.

At least I now know these offers do really exist, fortunately for my abstinence pledge and wallet I'm not that keen on the bronze BB58. The email appeared when I was checking emails and I was able to add it to my basket but it sold a minute or so later.

I知 in as well , because if they had stuff that cheap it could just be moved sideways to other dealers with no hassle Warranty etc .

I snagged this one. Order is still sitting at awaiting despatch, so when it arrives I値l post pics. Seemed like a decent deal for a watch with papers and a 2 year warranty.

My Speedmaster Date turned up today. During the order process, WF ask you to enter the size you壇 like the bracelet set to, and they got hold of an additional spare link to size for me, which I thought was good service.

Watch arrived by DHL, tracked to my door, and was well packaged. I知 really happy with it - it痴 immaculate and both the head and bracelet are like new. Comes with paperwork, certificate of authenticity and a watchfinder box.

Whoever snagged the Sub Date for 」6000 definitely got a good deal, too.

Anyone posting a loss of 」11,780,000 might try some extreme promotions.

That is for the year ending March 2023.....and things may well have become worse since then.

I presume this is because of the depreciating assets they held through a declining market.

Equally the would have made out like bandits in 2020, 2021 and 2022 with balance sheets that would have dwarfed any 2023 losses.

    Swings and roundabouts.

    They were extraordinary times.....now gone.

If losses that are bigger again crystallise in the year ending 31st March coming, the balance sheet isn't going to look so solid. Ok, the new owners have deeper pockets than any, but don't be surprised if there are some changes coming...

I do agree. OR it's some genius marketing from Watchfinder.

Tossing out a Sub for 」2K less than retail has got a watch forum talking about Watchfinder...

Can't remember the last time I checked Watchfinder...

I am now on Watchfinder... Looking at their stock.

Perhaps the best 」2K they ever spent!

I’ve sold to Watchfinder before and often have a look at their site (mainly Rolex, Omega etc) but rarely find anything at decent value. I find their prices quite variable too…I was looking at an Omega the other day and the same watch shot up by a couple of hundred pounds the next day when I clicked back to it.

I wonder if the balance sheet loss and current trading conditions might force them to lower their asking prices a bit in the future and reduce the margin on their stock?
