Goldsmiths Eldon Square has closed.
I did wonder if this would happen, after they opened another store on Blackett Street.
I also wonder if there was some pressure from Rolex to reduce the number of AD’s.

Always seemed a bit of an odd place to have one anyway. The Eldon Square footfall made a lot of sense but it was tucked away in so much as if you weren't planning on walking through Eldon Square you may not have found it.
quite expected considering there has always been another Goldsmiths selling the same stock 200m away, currently larger than ever before.
Think yourself lucky Sunderland has no goldsmiths or ernest jones only place left is H Samuels or the pawn shops for secondhand watches.
