Eddie Update

Hi everyone.

Sorry for the lack of updates, things have been a bit manic with visits and Christmas in general.

I've been going to see Eddie every day and he has made significant progress over the last 48 hours.

They are lowering his Oxygen intake, getting him up & about and his breathing/speech has become much less laboured over the last couple of days.

He is still on quite strong painkillers for the ribs but he's progressing well and actually seems in very good spirits considering he has been in hospital for a week now, maybe even better spirits than he usually is :)

We have tried several methods to get him online with ipads, laptops, etc but the wifi and the 4G reception on the ward is useless.

I have been passing on the messages for support from the forum and emails.

I'll update everyone again when there is some significant news.

Thank you for the update Dave, it is great to hear that

• Eddie is in unusually good spirits (how strong are the painkillers)
• He is improving, especially if it is significantly
