I have just popped briefly on here to offer my heartfelt and warmest greetings to all my TZ friends.
First of all, I would like to to offer my sincere condolences to Eddie. I am sorry for your loss.
It has been around 5 years since I was a regular poster on here, and in that time the world has seen many severe social, political, cultural and economic upheavals. We live in interesting times. I hope and pray that each of us has the wisdom and fortitude that we need to forbear whatever else lays in all of our respective paths, and that, more than anything else, we never forget to be kind.

That thread brings back very pleasant memories of running round Connaught Circus in a Hindustani Ambassador taxi on the last day of a posting to Delhi looking for the office of the Coffee Board of India to score some coffee beans for BND. As a result of your thread we had already agreed a trade of coffee beans for his prayer wheel.
Dave also advised on the purchase of my HMT in the year before.
