    Easy transaction at WF

Just a bit of a thumbs up to WF for a transaction I had with them this week.

I put a Datejust to them for a valuation. In the online valuation there is a section “expected amount”. Based on recent eBay sold items and also chrono 24 advertised prices I put down £5800. Their valuation pending all the usual came back at £6308.

I dropped the watch in a Leeds store on Monday and received their offer for the full £6308 today.

    Happy at that. Completely painless

They have always been great to deal with from my experience, just don't look at the margin they put on when they list it

Makes no difference surely if you’re happy with the price you got.

Thanks OP, always good to get personal trusted feedback.

It's just the way my brain works. I sold them a Zenith for 2500 they put it up at 6k and thought maybe I should have pushed for more, 24h later I didn't care.

I sold a TT lady Datejust to them and was happy with the price they offered and the ease of the transaction.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

I hope you took a couple of links out the bracelet before selling it to them, then offered them separately for fifty quid each after you got your money.

Same for me. Bought and sold a WG Daytona to them, and also bought a Patek annual calendar, both a few years ago now. The Patek had some issues with time keeping and was sent back to Patek who fixed it. Nice and easy. I've not bought anything from them for a while, but would have no problem with going back again if they had something that I was particularly interested in.

Another vote for them. Made my last sale easy. Funny thing is i'm sure the watch I sold them has appeared in targetted adverts on websites which feature WF, as it was one of only 2 ladies watches in stock and both appeared in the advert shown to me.
