The standard reply from the police is "thats what insurance is for".
Said to my face last year and this year in seperate criminal incidents,they are part of the problem as people believe there is no comeback.
They choose who they help and they choose what crimes they deem worth investigating which links back to "they choose who to help" in deciding.
I have seen it first hand,they positivley identified the thieves in one case and knew where the lived.
Even when I beged for help they would do nothing.
Going so far as to redact the photos of the criminals so much you couldnt see a body shape.
Same as the current epidemic of car esp Range Rover theftI or shoplifting. somehow not classed as real crime.

People with visible signs of wealth will always be easy targets.The scum also know they are hard to find after the crime.
