New or pre owned (if preowned have an example).
Here’s the catch, can’t be something in your current collection or owned previously.
What watches you choosing?
Mine:
Sub £1k - Seiko SPB143 - online currently in the BF sales a £950ish.
Other contenders Oris 65 Arabic numerals SC has one at £900. Older Tag Aquaracer WAN2110 - Chrono24 has one for £850
Sub £5k - Omega Seamaster 300m Professional Green on the rubber strap. One I’m toying with to buy in the future - eBay has a few at £4,300
Other contenders Tudor Pelagos 39mm, Tudor BB36 Light champagne another one currently on my hit list.
Sub £10k - Rolex Sub ND, obviously I’m this scenario at RRP and available.
Other contenders GO Panomatic Lunar a grail watch of mine & potential end game, also just sneaks in under £10k. But not ideal for a 1 watch.
Already owned a Speedy Pro Sapphire 3861, (which I’d love again).
So what’s everyone else’s picks?

Sub £10k, it has to be a Sub and I’ve had most of them. I haven’t had a 4 line 14060m so I’ll go with that.
Sub £5k, a Speedy sapphire sandwich is also my choice.
Sub £1k, a Sinn 556i red seconds hand.
That would keep me pretty happy tbh.
