Late to this thread but this must be my favourite decade for watches and probably cars. I dug these out for a quick pic.

    1970’s Cool !

My two 70s contributions ,one of which gets heaps of abuse from the Mrs and daughter whenever worn… I will let you guess which one :)

    1970’s Cool !

I have this lovely 1979 Grand Quartz, with twin quartz crystals in near perfect condition. It’ runs within 2-3 seconds per month and works so well with a shirt.
Sadly, as I’m out of work I never dress up and rarely have cause to wear it. Also, there is no bracelet adjustment so it’s a fraction tight in hot weather. I’d sell it if I thought someone would pay me enough.
I have a 1977 King Quartz too that I wear far more often as it’s a little less flash and has an adjustable bracelet. Plus a few 70s Seiko automatics.

A classic 70s design cue: cut glass crystals. I used to dislike them, but I've come around and am actually a fan now.

That’s cool, the crystal goes nicely with the dial.

Mine is a bit plainer but still space age and funky - and futuristic quartz as well.

Very nice! The block case certainly adds some 70s cool too.

Just happened to be wearing the type II today, so thought I'd show a few of mine also:

Just one more as I can see this thread is dying and I’ve posted this watch plenty in the past.

Always love the wittily-clever little minute-indices on these!

I think Omega had the most fun in the 1970s
