Despite having a decent selection of modern watches I always seem to be drawn to my SHOM.
It’s almost 50 years old and in my opinion still looks super cool. Also running within 5 seconds a day which is more than acceptable.
Does anyone else have a favourite vintage piece that puts a smile on their face ?

I would be more than happy with the SHOM
I find myself increasing drawn to my vintage watches, I like tritium dials and hands. Especially in a chunky divers watch. My modern watches don’t get worn as nearly as much

Here’s some 60’s cool.
Omega did make some cool watches. This is my Geneve Dynamic from the earlier part of the decade. Small but perfectly wearable.
That SHOM is very sweet.

Have a few neo vintage offerings that I prefer when compared with the more modern pieces in the collection. Tend to wear them quite infrequently though.

A significant proportion of my admittedly small collection is from the 70's
From 1972/73 these two:
I got the 6139 back from a service last week and it has been on my wrist ever since.
And from 1978, my Omega Baby Proplof
I thought I was going to need to sell the Omega earlier this year to fund a business venture, but I am very glad now nobody bought it!
I have a real soft spot for these flightmasters as they have such wonderful colours on the dials.Wow these are incredible!

Only have this Seiko Speedtimer from 1976, with the rare JDM bracelet which is way better than the normal one. Generally in great condition as worn for only a couple of years before getting a new ‘wearer’

Much of my collection is retro 60'2/70s. Mostly lower end but still much-loved.
My favourite is either a beat-up old Navitimer or this:
The Soccer watch, still my "posh watch". Trotted out on high days and holidays. Papers date it to 1976.

For me so far, the Flightmasters and Autavia are neck-for-neck first place, with the BBC Lemania just a neck behind in third.
That is a lovely dial. Citizen gave their Cosmotron's some many a good dial. I seen/been tempted by many Cosmotron's and never seen two with the same dial.There are very few watches that I covet, but that's one of them.
I'm also fond of the Cosmotron.
