Love the size. But polished lugs against brushed end links looks very aftermarket. And terrible imho.
I’d have it on a tropic.

And on a new bracelet. Thoughts?
I quite like it in this much more wearable size.

Nice watch. Nice bracelet. On their own, but not together!! - watched another review and on leather it’s £3k which seems about £1k too much imho.
Agreed, but that is the world we live in these days. A newer model is never going to be sold at the same price as the old one.

The black one looks a little sterile but I like the blue one a lot.

I do like the blue but not keen on the bracelet.
This paragraph interested me-
Furthermore, Longines takes things one step further by having the whole watch (with the movement mounted normally inside the case) COSC chronometer-certified for accuracy.
Do some manufacturers only certify the movement when it’s in a holder?

Lovely, and finally a bracelet for the Legend. The size is spot on too.
I do agree with the polished lugs / brushed end link comment above; seems like a strange choice.
I think I'd be removing the end link and getting my Cape Cod out.
Looking forward to trying one. I’ve had the ND reissue since it came out and I love it. However better lume and the better movement are quite tempting. I find the 42mm a great size and super comfortable on my 7.5” wrist but then I guess I’m just used to it having worn it almost daily since buying. I really don’t think a bracelet suits this watch, never have. The black dial on a sailcloth like the original would be great though.
