Rubbish?? It's subjective. Name the top 10 musicians on any instrument and in the mainstream music business and none of the beatles would even come close to making the list. If you like them Good for you but the reality is they're average at best.

You aren't taking into account that they were not just musicians but also innovators, poets, song writers, composers, fashion icons and setters and more. They changed the face and style of popular music worldwide.

Don't muddy the waters by saying there are/were better "musicians" as that has nothing to do with the Beatles, their popularity, and their success worldwide

It's just my opinion Red. Nothing more, nothing less. I can definitely take them or leave them. Other opinions differ and everybody is welcome to theirs.

Everyone has different musical tastes and opinions. Like sport...
Beatles or Stones, love them both, but Beatles always top for me. Oasis or Blur? Both fantastic, yet different.

Beatles that good, and not for them, not sure Oasis would have been what they were....
