WWW. Dirty Dozen known as. 1945 originally. This is a Record Watch (one of a dozen makes ordered by Govt at the time). Dial was changed by MOD in the 60's I think by R.E.M.E (Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers) and known as a NATO, with NATO ref number on dial,. 36.5+- case, though wears a bit bigger. Not so common, but not rare. T for tritium. Bought from member on MWR site and sent to Simon Fresse for a service and check over last summer (2023). Brilliant job he did to. Running less than a minute out over 24hrs, not bad for a 1945 watch which must have seen some action.. Happy with the one Dirty Dozen, some people chase the full dozen....rabbit warren.

Thank you for the information, I did wonder if it was a dirty dozen but the lack of manufacture on the dial made me wonder.

Ho for the full set, that would be fun.
    Cheers,

Just bought my first vintage omega and this one was on a few of my research rabbit hole journeys, I may be wrong but I think it’s a 176.007 from the early 70’s.

    Yes, that’s the model reference

Thanks for the comments, if you fancy going deep into the detail then this is a good place to start:
