Lots of choice in coals drop yard behind the station.

The Lighterman is always good whenever I have visited for lunch.

And the Babel beerhouse if you need a cheeky craft beer for pudding.

Can highly recommend Roti King near Euston Stn. It is popular during the week.

Been twice and really liked it but their toilet is brutal.

Only been in the evening and it was painfully popular - 35 minute wait outside (not my choice!). Food was good but not worth the wait, in my opinion.

I'd happily eat there again if it was a quick walk-in job.

Plum & Spilt Milk, now apparently renamed Rails, was a frequent lunch stop-off for me when I was regularly passing through Kings Cross. Haven’t been there since Covid but it was always excellent.

Wow tough crowd ha ha but you’re right about the wait times.
Ok an alternative suggestion would be Hoppers. Very tasty and authentic Sri Lankan food.
    Probably best to book.

+1 for Hoppers. You'd have to be loose with your definition of 'brunch' though (opens midday).

I also like the German gymnasium. But lots of decent choice around there these days!

By pure coincidence I ended up at Booking Office this evening. I’m hardly a ‘man about town’ so it is indeed pure coincidence!

    Fresh photo attached.

Edit to say that I don’t know the latest way to upload photos!
