Can anyone recommend where to service a vintage Heuer

Looking to get my Heuer Autavia serviced.

Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good independent to do the work.

Had a quick Google but there's so many.

Wow Olli's prices are great relative to what I paid to have my Autavia 3646 serviced. 325 GBP for a mechanical chrono versus 480 GBP (including a new mainspring). I figured that was the going rate because it's also what Classic Heuer quoted but I guess I should have shopped around more.

As long as you remember to write down exactly what you want doing to your watch.

And never, never send your vintage Heuer to TAG Heuer for a service. I bought one once that had been there and they'd relumed an incredibly rare dial with brand-new luminova, replaced the hands (with, oddly, NOS and tritium), polished the case and left the original bezel insert. It was a complete mess.

Nic Greene (Chronomatic.com) used to be the go-to person for vintage Heuer in the UK. I haven't heard anything from him for a while, but he'd be my first port of call for anything with a bit of age from that maker.
