Just in case anyone wants to watch it.

Just watched it. The so called expert describing the bracelet as a strap.
Very nice piece, the dial looked in amazing condition.
To be fair the owner did, so he was just using the same term for his benefit.

I’m certainly no expert on vintage Rolex but to me it looked like the hour hand had been replaced- the lume looked a different
colour to the minute hand ie: newer
Been back to Rolex for a service hving been worn daily, so likely some refinishing and not all original?
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
No box, papers, original purchase receipt , not convinced their watch bloke knew his stuff
He is a clock man https://www.bada.org/dealer/richard-...ntiques%20Fair.

The "experts" valuation would be so much different if he was sat in his premises making an offer to buy.
The problem with being an "expert" with years of experience on shows such as AR is that there are thousands of armchair experts who just love to criticise.
Indeed, but I always assume their prices are more like insurance valuation figures than wholesale prices.
They usually say it should sell for about X at auction.
Equally, who knows how much time and information is spent on items off camera.
