I don't have any watch that belonged to Tom Dick, but regardless he has my respect looking through those that have been posted by everyone else. How nice to see.

Well, here's a pretty awful quick & dirty photo. Beautiful thing, although the strap's a bit too long so will have to make a decision about sourcing something a bit shorter.

By far the best FF out there, especially with its size. What a watch!

That's a great Sinn, and very complementary choice of strap.

Sadly, I have no watches which went through Tom, instead I've brought out my first ever mechanical, bought 20 years ago (I haven't worn this in years). HAGWEE

I don't think I have anything that was owned by Tom:

I have been enjoying my Everest on this single-pass adjustable strap. Cannot take it off. Happy Friday, everyone!

    friday 22.09.23

Not bought from Tom, but my ownership is a direct consequence of him taking me to meet Tony & Simon at STS for the first time, many moons ago.

Because I was with Tom, Tony showed me his own collection, and this was the one that jumped out at me.

And now I have this one, being worn in Tom’s memory.

Just going into the third week away in the motorhome. Just up from Southend, not the one in Essex. The one on Kintyre.

    Have a good weekend

'Reconnected', if such a thing is possible, with this one when I took it on holiday a fortnight back. Hasn't been off my wrist since, including on my daily cycle too and from the office.

Settling down for the nightshift and wearing a watch bought from dickstar1977; perfect time to wear it.

A late evening change for the weekend. Collected it back today after having the Oysterflex sized properly, left it in in June so its like having a new watch.

    Thanks Steve. (o;

[One thing that puts me off wearing it is tiny flecks of white paint all over the case - I stupidly wore it painting a long time ago. Thinking I need to use some sort of plastic implement to remove them. Will make that my next task.]

Perfect size, interesting construction and the build quality is very good when compared to other brands of a similar age.

    Have a good weekend all.
I’m quite fascinated by the TH PRO too. Have never handled one but experience with TH of a similar vintage would suggest excellent build. They did have good form with their tool watches of this period.

If you get the chance, try one. It’s quite small and light for a 1000m diver, I wore my MM300 yesterday and it is so much heavier and thicker, yet ‘only’ rated to 300m with a similar style of case used.
I have my Pelagos on this morning, again the super pro feels more compact and is a similar weight on the wrist.
It was ahead of its time.

    Chronoswiss, the poor man’s Breguet!

Mine’s the old manual wind version. Quite a nice watch to wear, and good for telling the time with once you get used to it.
