    PRS 18q battery change

I'm on my second PRS18q (the first is at the bottom of the Atlantic - long story) and it is showing that the battery is coming to the end of its life. When I had the battery changed on my first one, no jewellers would touch it because of the 300m depth rating, and I made the stupid mistake of sending it off to Timpsons, who massacred the case back. Now I have a beautiful condition second attempt, I don't want some cack-handed amateur scarring it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere reliable to get the battery changed and pressure tested?

I don’t know where you are in the UK, but I would recommend a place local to me, Adams Watch Specialist in Aberdeen.

    https://www.adamswatchspecialist.co.uk/

Nick Adams recently installed a new movement in my Scurfa Diver One, after I killed the original while attempting a battery change at home.

I was very pleased by the service I received. The work was completed within a week and they were able to pressure test the watch to its 500m depth rating.

    Hope this helps!

Will certainly have a look at them. It's going to have to go somewhere, so Scotland by RMSD is no problem.
    Thanks

I’ve sent watches to member Duncan ‘The Watch Bloke’ for battery changes and pressure tests. Always excellent service and prices.

Our own Paul Walker just did two Omegas for me, excellent service and very reasonable.

With respect to Paul, does he have the ability to test to 300 metres?

I've always liked his work, but last time I tried to send him something, he turned me down as he had too much of a backlog. Do you know what his current lead time is?

Following on from this, the watch is off to Duncan
