It’s an automatic, supposedly from 81 but looks like it has had the hands and dial replaced. Is this a fake, a franken, or something interesting.
I have no connection to the seller but I am considering getting an auto.

States in the description that the dial and hands have been changed and the original dial is included.
Originally it would have the ‘fat’ minute hand handset, and I’m pretty sure the dial would have the old logo and small T, which (even the original dial) it hasn’t.

Maybe. From CWCAddict - 1982 – Dial now has new CWC logo in an oval, larger circled T above the hands.
Probably ripped off by some chancer and he's trying to recoup back what he originally paid for it.
