I have a 5827. Superb watch and stunning finishing. I much prefer it to the newer models.

The fantastic older and best version. Before the designers of Breguet went on a night out in Geneva and took a bet on who could really mess up a classic watch.

What case size is that? Google suggested 42 but it doesn’t look it there. My only reservation on the marine is the lug to lug

It is 42mm. The lugs are quite long but do curve around the wrist. I’ll get some more photos up next time it comes out to play. My wrist fluctuates between 7.5-8 inches.

Ah. I had assumed a smaller wrist on you!it’s very nice.

I also like the retrograde seconds. A wonderful complication!

Retrograde below. Just a lovely dynamic complication.

Some more photos for you. Lug to lug is about 50mm so is long, but they do curve and look much longer from the top than from the side. It’s probably one to try on first before buying but they really are tremendous watches and represent great value when compared to similar watches from other high end makers.
Wrist is now nearer the 7 inch mark, this salad lark must be doing something!
