These look nice for the money.

I ordered a couple of these as they look rather good for the money…

The gift that keeps on giving. They do look nice though. Tempting.

    IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR UK CUSTOMERS

Since Brexit, while the shipping is still FREE on our watches, our customers from the UK will have to pay 20% of VAT additionally. The payment will be managed via the shipping company, DHL. DHL will handle this smoothly by contacting you and collecting the VAT for you.

Not unexpected, but still unusual to be so candid:

...parts are crafted, with Monnin team oversight, by highly skilled, reputable suppliers based in Shenzhen

They are quite correct to say...

"Since Brexit, while the shipping is still FREE on our watches, our customers from the UK will have to pay 20% of VAT additionally. The payment will be managed via the shipping company, DHL. DHL will handle this smoothly by contacting you and collecting the VAT for you." ...but what they don't mention is that DHL will also charge you a decent fee for the privilege of sending you a couple of auotmated e-mails including a payment link....

Serious watches in NL have a large choice of budget watches with NH35 movements. They ship
Minus VAT but you have to pay at this end.

Very nice for the money, shame there isn't a no date option though.

There’s a no date mecaquartz option for £180.

Kudos to HGP. If they are taking suggestions for future releases, a 38mm Monnin case would be exciting.
