    New Gen WiS

My 10 year old is fascinated by my watches and has been desperate to ditch his timex ironman for an automatic on a bracelet. He couldn’t be more thrilled with his 37mm Seiko 5. Nice little guilloche style dial and deep shark blue.

He chose it himself and bought it with a year’s saved up pocket money.

This is how it begins. Pray for him.

That smile says its far far too late for prayers. Caught. Hook, line, and sinker. Well done.

Just remind him to take it off before bath time.

My first watch was a handwind Sekonda and I wore it all the time because no one told me you couldn't. After 2 weeks it stopped working and misted up. Lesson learned.

Take it off before he starts skateboarding! My sons first watch was a baby G and he totalled it after about 3 months. It still worked, but it looked like it had been chewed by King Kong!

Get your name down for a Rolex sport model, wear for 8 years then gift it to him for his 18th b'day.
    Win, win.

He'd be lucky to even 'get the call' by his 18th.

Thats great, my 5yr old recognises my BB58 in shops when I'm browsing & often likes to move the bezel.

My 8m old, just likes the shiny thing on my wrist and often just tries to bite it when I'm asleep in bed!

I like his enthusiasm! My daughters couldn’t give 2 hoots, so heads-up now there will be bargains to be had when I pop my clogs….

What a smile! My about to be 8yo daughter says nice things about my watches sometimes but I think that's her just being nice rather than driven by a particular interest. Although I think 8 is not a bad time for a first watch to cement her time telling Skills. Maybe I should encourage her with something quirky?...... then again, maybe not!

Nice job Glenn, we need the next generation engaged!

Although I suspect it could lead to some expensive birthday presents in the future .

Really suits him and well worth saving for! Good on him.

I started around that age with a swatch which was positively sh*8ty in comparison so hes way ahead of me already.
