Second rate tournament against second rate teams yet taking a 3-0 home drubbing by one of those second rate teams.
Or are you just giving them a head start?
Self awareness of what ?
Just because Newcastle haven’t won anything for 100 years doesn’t mean any other clubs need to be amazed to play in the Europa league.
No big side wants to play in the Europa.
As I’ve said 2nd rate tournament.

West Ham are going to have to go some to overturn Leverkeusen's two goal advantage.
Hopefully have Alvarez and possibly Bowen back for the home leg.
Cheers,
Neil.
Such a strange guy you matey.
Arrogant and entitled for not being interested in a second tier European competition ?
What top European sides would be interested in it.
Literally baffling stuff from you.
You’ve got this weird obsession with Liverpool and their fans. It’s actually unhealthy the amount of venom you post regarding it.
It’s just entertainment buddy, some teams are better than others, some teams have more fans, some teams have won more things.
Do your own mental health a favour and just let it go, you’ll be a happier person.

TTC is bang on about your arrogance and lack of self awareness as I'd reckon even Liverpool fans will be hard pushed to get on board with you.
Was sort of rooting for Liverpool in the run in but you make that difficult.
Your sign off on your post would get you a smash in the jaw I'd expect had it been said F2F.
What are you on about ?
No Liverpool fans want to be in the Europa league. Why would they ?
I make it difficult for you to root for Liverpool in the run in by saying I’m not bothered about the 2nd tier of European competition ?
And I’d get a smash in the jaw for advising someone to not take football so serious it affects his state of mind ?
Strange stuff.
Have a good day Mr Hood.

2nd tier competition or not, whilst they are still in it, they will want to win it.
Even to most Liverpool fans, I’d suggest that any trophy in the cabinet is better than none.
while i appreciate a 3-0 pasting at home isnt a great look, we havent been knocked out yet, maybe save the hubris til next week?
Wasn’t it a certain Mr Klopp who said he wanted to finish the group stages as winners and thus avoid the qualifying round of 32. If he thought it was a second rate trophy I’m sure he would have just put his kids out and not bothered about trying to get through.
So even if the fans weren’t bothered, the club at least was giving it a go.
Split between which game to watch tonight .
Flicked on to Dortmund _Atleti to hear the dulcet tones of Mr Savage .
Easy decision now

I wouldn't rule Barca out as PSG have the mental strength of Arsenal on a title run-in.
Barca really living the Chumps league

Incredibly defensive line up Bayern have put out against Arsenal. I'm confused as defence hasn't exactly been their strongest suite this season.
I think Arsenal can do it tonight, so will watch that one.
Would love RM to win, but somehow don’t see it. After about half an hour they will probably be struggling to stay awake.
I'm confident in Arsenal's chances tonight. People say Arsenal are bottlers and don't have experience of winning titles, yet they forget the Arsenal squad is packed full of Community Shield winners and multiple 'Top at Xmas' Champions. That experience has to count.
Cole Palmer would have scored a hat trick by now

Akanji in midfield isn’t working as he doesn’t think like a midfielder.
Best Arsenal team in 12 years couldn’t get past the worst Bayern side in 12 years.
Harry Kane marches on. Gunners lack of CL experience tells in the end

Pathetic performance from Arsenal didn’t ever look like getting a goal.

Bayern were better, but a terrible performance made no chances, just passed it around the back, to many no shows, havertz shi1te as always, and why take off Jourginho and put havertz in the middle, we lost all our shape. No urgency at all. Said it last week if we don’t get a striker we won’t win anything in the next few season.

I don’t mind being knocked out - what irks me is the manor we went out, such a tepid limp display when it was all to play for.
Arteta hasn’t managed Saka’s minutes at all well, he just flogs him into the ground.
Whenever I watch Arsenal I feel they’re trying to win the possession and pass stats as priorities over winning the game. Another five passes sideways or back rather than being brave with the ball.
Season over in three days. Must be frustrating for you Gooners.
Was Saka even on the pitch, don’t recall seeing him.
One of England’s finest, I don’t think.
