Thread: Anyone on the forum recommended for doing a movement swap ?

  1. #1

Anyone on the forum recommended for doing a movement swap ?

A friend has a U-Boat auto that he's had fixed twice due to the full rotor assembly coming loose so I've advised a movement swap may be the best course of action.
Can anyone recommend someone to complete this task please ?

Might be best putting this question on a watch forum.

    Id recommend Paul Walker.

Walkerwek1958 or 58,eitherway Paul is very capable.

You can't go far wrong with Duncan (TheWatchBloke).

Just returned from a short break and seen this.

Firstly, I question why the OP thinks a new movement is the answer! Fixing the rotor seems more logical to me and a whole lot cheaper. Can`t say I know much about U Boat watches but provided the movement is something mainstream (ETA?) it makes sens eto address the real issue rather than throw the baby out with the bathwater.

More details will help (model, movement etc) before I commit to it.....if I get asked! I prefer to discuss details such as price by PM.

Perhaps he might want to upgrade it with a 321 movement
