Should the reversal of the red card decision and suspension be subject to appeal??

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Agreed. Can't see any mitigation.
In the cases of red cards for driving in to mauls etc, the injured party nearly always moves at the last second, it's the tackler who is held responsible as they should be in control

Always a stick on red, the bunker never needed, appeal committee all Aussie who disapprove of red cards, felt like a set up. With his record 6 weeks/matches seems fair.
I’m also picking up the SM chatter about how, cos it’s OF, there is protection of him. If it’s a 6N matter then id agree 100%, but with as panel were allegedly Aussies, who just love the English don’t they, I’m surprised.
One things clear, OF is a liability for club and country given his propensity to do stupid things like this. Classic case of a player who was reasonably good who lost it and so focuses on an opposing player for a controversial hit. Keeps them in them in the spotlight as a has been.

Looks like Billy Vinipola has now joined the red card list….
“If Owen can get away with it, so can I” or not?
All I know is that the future of rugby as we know it is doomed.
Wasn’t the whole bunker system devised to speed up the game, and avoid everybody watching a big screen for 7 mins whilst the officials work out if it’s a straight red or a yellow?
Given how a red early in a game can literally be a game changer, I like the bunker idea.
If world rugby is serious about player welfare then this is what they need to do I suppose.
I see he's been re-banned.
The right result by the wrong means.
I still think the bunker idea has its merits.
