    Five of Them Are Useless

    Came across this horror on eBay. Only one of the 6 crowns is functional.

    If you thought that was bad, check out below, courtesy of eBay. It's a 1920's Rolex pocket watch movement that has been re-cased and (re-dialled, presumably). Sold for 2k.

    Have to say... that would have been pretty cool had it been a rolex original!

    I'd strongly dislike this if not for the explicit acknowledgement on the dial that five of the crowns are for show only. As it is, I only slightly dislike it.

    Likewise!

    What would make it even better, is a mechanism inside that switched from one crown to the next after use. Diesel getting haute!
