I wish they would put the 1972 reissue in the sale. I am not sure if it will wear too small for me and not worth the gamble at full price

Probably too recent a release. The Falcon Eye and 1978 reissue are both there but not with as big savings as these two.

A pleasure. Remember the days when people were paying £300+ for these?

I always found these reissues really flimsy and insubstantial. Part of the retro charm, I suppose.

Flimsy bordering on disposable! I bought one in an Amazon sale for about £80 a year ago, I think I’ve worn it twice. Looks a lot better than it feels if that makes sense?

Received my Q reissue today. It’s a fun watch, but definitely not worth the RRP.

I think the £63 odd I paid is about the right price.

Agreed, they are fun and I think cool, but the sale price is far more realistic than the rrp.

Looking thru their mens watches and new releases, you can see the brands that inspire their designers .

Looks like the extra 20% off has been removed now.

I rather enjoyed my time with the Pepsi one that was all the rage for a while. Could entertain another. But the bracelet was the worst hair-puller since the 90s Omega Dynamic.

You should wear it on your wrist, otherwise asking for trouble.

I wore mine yesterday as a result of this thread and had a compliment on my lovely watch from a female colleague who used the words ‘very cool watch, I prefer that to the (BB58) you usually wear to the office. Looks old like you but in a good way’. I’ll take that from a 25 year old!

    PSA: TIMEX Q REISSUE SALE.

Wearing mine this morning. I disagree with some of the comments on here. I think it is worth the RRP. Happy that I paid £60 obviously. Doesn’t feel flimsy as mentioned in my opinion. That said, not sure how many hairs I will have left on my wrist by the end of today!

    Love that colour combo Gav!
Whilst I have said I believe £60 is the real price its not a criticism, I believe a watch with a simple quartz mechanism, diver styling but no real water resistance should be about that price. I don't think they are flimsy, I have one of the first of the reissues (think I bought it on sc) and I still enjoy it and it still looks good. And like a previous poster who received positive comments from a colleague has found, it's one of the few watches I have ever owned that has had a few of those.
Enjoy it, great fun and value for £60, you could have wasted four times that or more on a plastic space watch! ;)

I have to admit, that wrist shot sells the watch to me better than that on the Timex website.
