    40th birthday watch has landed

    After much procrastination my zenith pilot big date flyback ceramic (just rolls off the tongue!) has arrived. As this was my biggest purchase by some margin and marking a big occasion it took time to reach a decision on the watch for me. I have a small collection of 3 other nice watches and always aim to keep that number to 6 or less. As such I like variety of brand, complication, style, material etc.

    This is my first zenith and I love it. The packaging is far better than I expected and more so than my Tudor, IWC and omega packaging. The watch it’s self is ceramic and has the complications listed in the name! It fits my wrist well and looks smaller than its steel counterpart. Anywho, here is a pic and happy birthday to me!

    Not normally a fan of black cases but that works well with the white on the dial. And readability value 100% which I value, the easier to read the better the watch IMO.
    Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
