Hi all,
Has anyone used Brothers In Time UK before to purchase a watch? Im about to purchase from them and just thought i would do my due diligence first as they want a bank transfer. Here is their website - https://www.brothersintimeuk.com/

They have an eBay account so you could check their feedback.
I think they also sell via the WatchFinder platform.
Hmm, no obvious bricks and mortar address, a single mobile phone number and a "gmail" email address would be big "red flags" for me.
A
They do have a registered address, same as this lot https://avonmotcentre.co.uk/.
Their VAT number is valid though https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/check-vat-number/known

From their T&C’s page
“Our main trading address is Provident House, 44 Harpur Street, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 2QT.”
I don’t know Bedford very well but the Streetview image of 44 Harpur Street does not inspire confidence.
Agreed on the Red Flags

The company referred to on their site was incorporated in March 2021. Their first accounts show they’ve booked c£90k profit.
On the terms and conditions page it mentions they’re registered by the FCA. The FRN number given when checked on the FCA website leads to a different company altogether.
Hang on, that FRN belongs to Best Quality Watches Limited . . . . BQW . . . .

They have 151 Trust Pilot reviews over a reasonable period of time and they’re really glowing. Why not get into a dialogue with them and see how you feel?
I have dealt with them and purchased a Milgauss from them. They were actually excellent. It was during the Covid Days and they actually hand delivered the watch to my house in an evening to make sure that I was comfortable with the purchase.

I believe this is two chaps who were based in Milton Keynes in 2020/21 who I sold a watch to. Travelled to Scotland to collect, nice chat and smooth transaction.
Their terms say “A restocking fee of 10% will charged on any non-fault returned goods regardless of the total purchase value.”
This appears (subject to timing) to be contrary to distance selling regulations.
Not sure who the "brothers" are, but the directors appear to be :
MR EREN DJENGIZ and
MR GIUSEPPE BRUNO
