    Radiomir on rubber

    Hi there.

I am thinking of adding a rubber green strap for my PAM753. Does anyone think this would look weird? I understand its my opinion ultimately that counts, but I just wanted to gauge opinion from the people here.

    Thanks

I wonder if opinions will have changed from 26.06.14?

Would defintely look a bit weird imo, but as you say its up to you whether you like it or not. Might be worth buying one of the cheap Chinese straps then if you like it you can then fork out for a OEM strap.

Here’s one on an OEM accordion rubber. Think it would look fine personally, although wouldn’t be an obvious choice

Looks a bit anachronistic but if you fancy it, why not?

It appears not for me at least - I seem to have posted a picture of a turd in that thread although it's no longer showing.

Personally no but each to there own. There are a couple of photos on Instagram of what you are thinking about doing so that will give you an idea.

If your reference is 45mm or 47mm you’ll need a 27mm strap otherwise it will fall short at each end. Personally that doesn’t look right either.

You can’t currently get an OEM rubber strap in 27mm. 26mm is your max.

There you go. That’s a 24mm strap on a watch that has a standard 27mm fit.

    Not my photo btw.

I really like Rads on rubber.
    Stana Katic regularly wears.
