Elton band just perfect. A stunning canon of songs to choose from.
We all have different opinions and long may that be so. Just started watching Elton now, missed the first half hour. Class act, but understand why he's hanging up his hat now, time is cruellest on singers (as per Axl earlier, you feel the band have another decade in them).

Is he walking a bit strangely?
Has Elton followed through?
Unsteady on his feet.
He is 76 mind. Really enjoying it so far.
Elton is in a different league IMHO....never thought I'd say that !
No doubt EJ is on it
Paul’s just popped up again

Not great, but doubt any other current or ex Premier League chairman could pull this off to be fair

Can’t wait to watch Elton John after I finish my decorating. I’m still sanding.

Watching QOTSA.. bloody brilliant so far.
I took a piano lesson with Elton John...
He was so nice, he even offered to push in my stool.

Great to see Ray Cooper's still rocking the Bongo's
Saturday night bang on really enjoyed that.
I take back my earlier comment about him hanging up his hat, he's kicking it out of the park now (to mix my metaphors).
Saw him last year - amazing - just as good tonight
I saw him in the early 80s at what was then the Cornwall Coliseum in St. Austell. And then heard him about 2005 when he played Pittodrie Stadium in Aberdeen (parked outside).
Elton has just been brilliant throughout his set, the voice at 76 is still there.
Massive kudos to him and the band, Davey Johnstone, Ray Cooper and Nigel Olson seem to have been with him forever, certainty since the 70’s when I first saw them.
A great finale to what’s been a really good Glastonbury.

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
His vocals were so much better as the set went on. Always will be a class act musically the band were faultless
Set lists really don’t get better than that.
Enjoyed that.
Nice tribute to George Michael too.
I saw him at V in Chelmsford in about 2001, turned up in his helicopter did his set and flew back straight away, I think he did the same thing there.
I didn't see much, but was the sound terrible or were the acts I saw terrible?
GnR, Foo Fighters, Elton, Lewis Capaldi all sounded dire to me.
None are my favourites, but they just sounded awful.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
I think the sound was variable, cat Stevens and Elton John was very good, guns and Roses and blondie were dire, I don’t know if it’s the BBC or their own sound engineers who are responsible.
The most annoying thing was the BBC director showing how many cameras he had, flicking from one to the other all the time about every five seconds, I’d say it made G&R unwatchable

Saw Guns n Roses in London about 6 years ago and voice wasn’t great back then, but like this weekend, still great to watch and Slash superb.
Elton set also fantastic to watch. Great way to go out.
Cat Stevens awesome as always.
Whilst everybody was watching Elton John, the Queens of the Stone Age set that was on at the same time was right up there better than Guns N' Roses. Not far off the Foo Fighters. Really tight and well delivered. Definitely worth a watch on iPlayer.

I think Elton's voice doesn't suit his songs anymore, he can't hit the upper range at all and a lot of his songs depend on that. He's also adopted a weird pub singer type affliction which I found off putting. I love his work especially the early stuff but I think it's definitely time for him to stop performing live. I saw him at Wembley arena in 89 and he did a brilliant set and of course his voice was awesome back then. Shame.
I thought he did really well for 76, probably now is the best time to call it a day! I really enjoyed it.
Elton had lost the showman act, which is totally unsurprising for a old fella.
Part of his appeal was the showman, and just sitting at the piano, while he still has a great voice and a fantastic back catalogue, it seems a good time for him to hang up his vocal cords.
We watched Fat Boy on the iPlayer, absolutely amazing, watched in rapt attention for the 1:15hr set, then started watching Elton, and got distracted and wandered off almost immediately!.
Slash was awesome, not sure about Ian Beale singing though…. The years haven’t been kind!
Editors on Sunday were outstanding, QOTSA were very good, some of the vocals a bit muffled, but still very good.
